holiday

It's our favorite time of the year!

We are excited that the holiday season is almost upon us, and it's already been a busy one here at the farm! This year, we have an incredible selection of white spruce, blue spruce and Fraser fir available for cutting in the fields, and we also have beautiful pre-cut Fraser fir for sale in front of the barn. If you are interested in our hand-decorated balsam wreaths or other fresh greenery items, be sure to visit us early in the season for the best selection.

Connecticut Farmer and Feast
Jeff has been chosen as one of 43 CT farmers featured in a new cookbook by Emily Brooks, Connecticut Farmer and Feast. The launch for the book took place on Saturday, June 5th, at Opening Day of the Coventry Regional Farmers' Market at the Hale Homestead in Coventry. We are excited that Emily will be coming to this summer's Orange Open Farms Day (to be held on Saturday, August 27th), and will be signing and selling copies of her book that day. And just around the corner...
The holiday season will be here before you know it! We will be opening our Christmas tree fields on Friday, November 25th. We do allow tagging of trees beginning on that date. Please check back over the next few months as we prepare for the 2011 Christmas tree season!
