spring

Welcome!

Summer's nearly here, and we will be open for the season in about 6 weeks! Jeff has worked hard to get everything planted, and has added some exciting new varieties of vegetables this year. Please check back with us often over the next few months, as we will be updating our harvest schedule to let you know what vegetables are ready and being picked.

We hope our website will provide you with helpful information about the three seasons of activity here at the farm. If you would like to receive seasonal updates via email from Treat Farm, please sign up here for our 'On the Farm' Email Newsletter. If you have any questions about the farm that aren't answered here, or have any comments or suggestions for us, please feel free to email us at info@treatfarm.com

The first annual
Orange Farmers' Market

Treat Farm has signed up to participate in the new Orange Farmers' Market, which is slated to open on Wednesday, July 8th and run through September. The market will be operating each Wednesday from 3:30-6:30 pm at the Orange Fairgrounds. We plan on offering the same great selection of fresh vegetables and cut flowers that we sell at the stand up at the market! For more information, visit www.orangefarmersmarket.com.

Treat Farm receives Joint Venture Grant from CT Dept of Agriculture

We are excited to be one of twenty farms in the state awarded a Joint Venture Grant for projects involving the Department of Agriculture's "Connecticut Grown" logo. We intend to use the grant funds to defray part of the cost of brown Department of Agriculture directional signs to be erected on Orange Center Road (Rt. 152).
